Payment Policy
Last Updated: July 14, 2026
At Native Inkas Shop, we strive to make your shopping experience as seamless and secure as possible. This policy outlines the payment methods we accept, our procedures for processing payments, and how we protect your financial information during transactions for our authentic, handmade goods.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We offer a variety of secure payment options to accommodate our customers. We accept the following forms of payment for online purchases:
- Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
- Digital Wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay (available on supported devices).
- Alternative Methods: PayPal.
For in-store purchases at our Pittsburgh location, we accept all major credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and cash.
All prices on our website are listed and processed in US Dollars (USD).
2. Payment Processing
Authorization and Charging: When you place an order on our website, your payment method will be authorized and charged immediately upon checkout to secure your handmade items.
Declined Payments: If your payment is declined by your bank or card issuer, your order will not be processed. You will be notified immediately during the checkout process and prompted to provide an alternative payment method.
Secure Transactions: We use secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) to handle all online transactions. Native Inkas Shop does not directly collect, process, or store your full credit card information on our servers at any time.
3. Order Confirmation
After your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive an automated order confirmation email containing your order details, billing information, and receipt.
If you do not receive this confirmation email within 24 hours of placing your order, please check your spam or junk mail folder. If it is still missing, please contact our support team at support@nativeinkasshop.com to verify that your order was received successfully.
4. Taxes
As a business operating in Pennsylvania, we are required by law to collect applicable sales tax on orders shipped to addresses within the state, or purchased in-store.
Applicable sales tax will be automatically calculated and added to your order total at checkout based on your shipping address and the current local tax rates.
5. Fraud Prevention and Security
To protect our customers and our business from unauthorized transactions, we employ robust fraud monitoring systems.
Security Checks: We monitor all transactions for suspicious activity. We reserve the right to delay processing or cancel any order that triggers our fraud prevention flags or fails our security checks.
Verification: In some cases, we may reach out to you via the email address or phone number provided at checkout to verify your identity or purchase details before fulfilling the order.
Cancellation: If an order is cancelled due to suspected fraud, the payment will be fully refunded to the original method of payment, and you will be notified via email.
6. Refunds and Credits
If you are eligible for a refund in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy, the funds will be issued back to the original payment method used at checkout.
Please allow 3–7 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer’s processing times. Native Inkas Shop cannot expedite this banking process.
